Every year, I make something sweet for my little valentines. It’s Rocky Road this time. This easy-peasy recipe is sweet and gooey. Anyone would love to have this made for them.
Rocky Road Squares
150g each of dark and milk chocolate
3tbsp golden or corn syrup
200g digestive biscuits, crushed
50g hazelnuts, chopped
30g dried fruit mix
100g mini marshmallows
Melt ingredients together on low heat. Stir continuously until smooth. Pour 1/3 of melted chocolate into a separate bowl. Set aside.
Add digestive biscuits, nuts and dried fruit to remaining chocolate . Mix.
Pour chocolate mix in lined tray. Top with marshmallows and remaining 1/3 of melted chocolate.
Leave to set and place in refrigerator until firm.
Remove from tray and cut into square bars.
Gift them to your sweetheart and watch their heart melt!
